Investor Relations Manager - Junior Mining Platform

The Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) is developing the Junior Mining Platform, an initiative designed to connect promising mining projects with local and international investors and improve access to capital for Kazakhstan's natural resources sector.
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Investor Relations Manager to support the platform's growth through investor engagement, business development, market outreach, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with local and international investors interested in the mining and natural resources sector.
- Facilitate engagement between investors and mining project sponsors participating in the Junior Mining Platform.
- Support the attraction of new investment opportunities and ecosystem participants.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities and contribute to the development of strategic partnerships.
- Organize and support investment-focused events, meetings, and industry initiatives.
- Prepare analytical materials, presentations, and investment briefs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving access to capital for mining projects through the AIFC ecosystem.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mining Engineering, International Relations, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, investor relations, finance, mining, or a related sector.
- Understanding of the mining project lifecycle and investment processes.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic mindset with sound analytical and project management capabilities.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in English, Russian, and Kazakh.
