Your day to day

As the Front Office Manager at Holiday Inn Almaty you’ll lead the hotel front office team to deliver a true Holiday Inn experience for every guest stay. Your leadership will focus on delivering a strong guest engagement score alongside departmental revenue and profit goals using a combination of existing and newly introduced initiatives. You'll be responsible for imbedding the IHG One Rewards culture into your team and meeting Holiday Inn brand standards. In addition, you will take charge of safety and compliance requirements ensuring those standards are met.

You will be a natural leader who enjoys leading by example and working closely with your team, seeing the value in coaching and developing individuals around you. Your focus on continuous improvement and problem solving will ensure that you are comfortable with accountability for the Front Office team.

What we need from you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 2 years experience as a Hotel Duty Manager/Assistant Front Office Manager is essential
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Hotel/Hospitality Management is highly regarded
• Solid understanding of hotel systems (Opera, PMS) and hotel revenue management principles
• Experience in hotel rostering and efficient manning practices
• A passion to develop team members and strive for a highly engaged team
• Ability to manage relationships with guests, colleagues, third parties using an approach that best reflects the hotel and brand philosophy
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent English
