Our professionals combine forensic accounting, advanced data analytics, and digital investigative tools to uncover fraud, trace assets, and support legal proceedings. Role
The role is a remarkable opportunity to enhance and develop your professional skills. You will take part in fraud investigations that range from employee misconduct and diversion of company assets to large scale multi-jurisdictional fraud. You will also help untangling complex business disputes and prepare defensible expert witness report.
Your role will directly involve:
- Working on proactive and reactive compliance related projects: helping clients to identify and prevent fraud, bribery and corruption;
- Reviewing and analysing financial and other documents to identify potentially suspicious transactions;
- Reviewing and drafting company policy and procedures to reduce / mitigate fraud, bribery and corruption;
- Designs anti-fraud, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and compliance frameworks tailored to client needs;
- Conducting interviews – to gather information on processes, with potential witnesses to issues and potential suspects;
- Prepares defensible working papers, reports, and expert witness deliverables
- Synthesizes complex analytical findings into actionable, practical insights
- Provide active mentorship and on-the-job training to more junior team members
- Oversee multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring deliverables align with required timelines
- Actively participate in practice growth by driving business development initiatives, identifying new market opportunities, and leading recruiting efforts.
Requirements:
- Higher education;
- 4 to 6+ years of professional experience in forensic accounting, auditing, or corporate compliance;
- Professional designations are highly preferred (e.g., ACCA, CFE, CAMS)
- Strong critical thinking, structured problem-solving, and exceptional report-writing and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and an inquisitive mind;
- Good analytical and communication skills;
- Flexibility and a commitment to seeing a task through to completion;
- A commitment to quality;
- A willingness to travel;
- Fluent English and Russian (Kazakh is also preferable but not essential);
