Azure Data Architect (Cosmos DB / GenAI / RAG)

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Architect to design enterprise data architectures that power GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI applications.

The primary focus of this role is to build a scalable, reliable, and production-ready data platform that enables the ingestion, processing, storage, and delivery of enterprise data to AI-powered applications.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise data architectures based on Microsoft Azure.
• Architect production-grade data solutions for GenAI, RAG, and/or Agentic AI applications.
• Design data models, storage solutions, and integration processes for structured and unstructured data.
• Define data ingestion architectures and prepare enterprise data for AI-powered search and retrieval.
• Design Azure Cosmos DB solutions with a focus on scalability, performance, reliability, and availability.
• Architect data platforms using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and other Azure services.
• Design scalable, metadata-driven and configuration-based data ingestion frameworks.
• Develop architecture documentation, data models, and technical specifications.
• Contribute to the modernization of existing data platforms and make key architectural decisions.
• Collaborate closely with Development, Data Engineering, and AI Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Architect, Solution Architect, or Cloud Data Architect.
• Deep expertise in Azure Cosmos DB.
• Hands-on experience designing enterprise data platforms on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven production experience architecting data solutions for RAG, GenAI, and/or Agentic AI applications.
• Experience designing AI-ready data platforms.
• Strong understanding of structured and unstructured data architectures.
• Knowledge of data modeling, ingestion pipelines, and data integration patterns.
• Ability to independently design architectures and make key technical decisions.
• Understanding of security, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements for production systems.
• English proficiency at C1 level is required.
