responsibilities

• lead and coordinate all procurement activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• monitor procurement activities and ensure timely award of contracts and amendments.
• coordinate bidding, tender evaluation, negotiations, and vendor selection.
• coordinate vendor due diligence assessments.
• review technical evaluation plans and purchase requisitions for quality and compliance.
• monitor key procurement kpis, including procurement lead time, tenders, direct awards, and amendments.
• ensure compliance with applicable procurement procedures and guidelines.
• identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, reduce turnaround time, and achieve cost savings.
• act as the focal point for procurement-related matters and maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and vendors.

requirements

• higher education degree in economics, law, engineering, or a related field.
• minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience in the oil & gas sector.
• solid experience in contracting and procurement.
• knowledge of international procurement procedures and guidelines; knowledge of kazakhstan regulations is an advantage.
• experience in vendor management, procurement compliance, and reporting.
• strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• knowledge of procurement planning, cost-saving methods, and negotiation strategies.
• strong organizational, time-management, and decision-making skills.
• results-oriented and able to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
• proficiency in microsoft office.
• good written and spoken english.
