• Responsibilities

• Develop and manage maintenance and repair schedules for electrical and power equipment.
• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs and shutdown activities.
• Ensure reliable and safe operation of electrical equipment, power systems and networks.
• Review and update maintenance scopes, procedures and PPM/PM programs in line with standards and manufacturer requirements.
• Provide technical assessment of new electrical equipment and participate in commissioning and acceptance testing.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and manage electrical maintenance contractors.
• Ensure contractors have the required qualifications, tools, equipment and HSE compliance before mobilization.
• Monitor periodic, major and corrective repairs of electrical and power equipment.
• Provide technical support for modernization, reconstruction and improvement of power systems.
• Prepare equipment, material and spare parts requirements and support budgeting and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety, HSE requirements, Company procedures and Kazakhstan regulations.
• Participate in investigation of electrical equipment failures and development of preventive measures.
• Organize inspection and testing of relay protection and automation systems.
• Maintain equipment documentation, maintenance records and required reports.
• Participate in interviews and assessment of electrical maintenance personnel.

• Requirements

• Higher education in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or a related specialty.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience with higher education, or minimum 5 years with secondary technical/vocational education.
• Experience in maintenance, repair and operation of electrical/power equipment and networks.
• Good knowledge of electrical installations, preventive maintenance systems and repair technologies.
• Knowledge of HSE requirements and electrical safety standards.
• Experience with contractor coordination and maintenance planning.
• Knowledge of Kazakhstan regulations related to electrical and power equipment.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Good communication skills.
• English language is desirable.
• Oil & gas / production experience is desirable.
