wood (trading locally as wood kss llp) is currently recruiting for graduate mechanical engineer to join our team in atyrau, kazakhstan.

responsibilities:

• assist lead / senior mechanical engineer in basic design / front end engineering design (feed) and detailed design (dd) phase of the projects for any project related to process plants such as oil & gas production, refinery / petrochemical units, ammonia, ethylene, mineral processing, specialty chemicals, refined products, pipeline, water treatment, etc.
• carry out various engineering activities as part of the above
• development of mechanical data sheets, requisitions, sdrls
• development of mechanical equipment schemes
• providing support for procurement team (relative to mechanical equipment)
• participate in sid reviews, design review, constructability review
• perform all conventional design work of the functional area under general supervision
• perform work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as resolution of conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements
• devise new approaches to problems encountered

qualifications:

• bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is mandatory
