responsibilities:- manage the distribution centre budget and cost-efficiency targets, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial objectives through monthly reporting.
- benchmark distribution centre costs and performance indicators against market and industry standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
- define, monitor and report key distribution centre kpis, including inbound/outbound accuracy, order fulfilment time, inventory accuracy, cost per unit, and on-time in-full delivery (otif).
- align distribution centre capacity planning with the merchandising and h&m franchise logistics functions, including seasonal volume forecasting and preparation of relevant reports.
- ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (sops) across all distribution centre activities.
- ensure full compliance with customs and import/export (impex) regulations, including cross-border transportation and documentation requirements.
- plan and manage the distribution centre workforce in line with capacity requirements and forecasts.
- identify and resolve risks and issues in daily operations.
- ensure accurate information flow between wms/erp systems and other functions, including merchandising, finance and sales.
- ensure accurate and timely reporting of performance indicators.
- prepare monthly operational reports.
- support internal and external audits.
- bachelor’s or master’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field.
- minimum 5–7 years of experience in logistics or warehouse management.
- at least 3 years of experience in a managerial role.
- experience managing large-scale distribution centres.
- understanding of sales and online functions.
- knowledge of global sop, safety and sustainability standards.
