requirements:
- higher education in electrical engineering or a related technical field.
- at least 5 years of experience in a relevant position with a major drilling company, working on a 2,000 hp drilling rig.

experience working in cold, arctic, and hydrogen sulfide (h₂s) environments.

extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with all drilling rig equipment and instrumentation and control systems (i&c).

holds a certificate confirming completion of drops standard awareness training.
