Reporting Specialist / Financial Reporting Specialist

Orbis Kazakhstan is looking for a Reporting Specialist with strong IFRS knowledge and hands-on experience in financial reporting to join our Finance team and contribute to the preparation and development of the Group’s consolidated financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and consolidate financial data from the Group’s companies and business divisions;
- Prepare consolidated management and financial reports for Orbis Kazakhstan;
- Review financial data submitted by Group companies and ensure its accuracy and quality;
- Analyze and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances;
- Participate in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS;
- Prepare supporting schedules, analytical materials, and explanations for financial statements;
- Maintain and update the Group’s IFRS accounting policies in line with changes in standards and reporting requirements;
- Provide methodological support to Group companies on IFRS and accounting policy matters;
- Work closely with finance teams across subsidiaries and business divisions;
- Support external auditors during the audit of consolidated financial statements;
- Participate in the improvement and automation of financial reporting and consolidation processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Economics, or a related field;
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, audit, or a related area;
- Strong practical knowledge of IFRS;
- Experience in preparing or auditing consolidated financial statements;
- Good understanding of consolidation principles, intercompany transactions, and consolidation adjustments;
- Advanced Excel skills;
- English proficiency sufficient to work with IFRS standards and professional documentation;
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with large volumes of financial data.
Will Be an Advantage
- Previous experience with a Big Four firm (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or PwC);
- ACCA qualification or ongoing progress toward ACCA certification.
