job purpose

the role involves delivering high-quality audit and ifrs reporting services, managing engagements, supervising team members, and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with professional standards.

key responsibilities

• review audit working papers for vse (very small entities) and nce (non-complex entities) engagements.
• supervise, coach, and train junior team members and assistants.
• manage audit engagements and coordinate project delivery.
• communicate effectively with clients and key stakeholders.
• prepare and review accounting policies, methodologies, and ifrs reports.
• support accounting process improvement and automation projects.
• participate in local and international engagements, including pcaob audits, valuation in audit (real estate) projects, and engagements related to blockchain and tokenization.

requirements

• higher education in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
• acca/cpa qualification (completed or in progress) will be considered an advantage.
• strong written and verbal communication skills in both russian and english.
• at least 3 years of experience in audit, accounting, financial reporting, or ifrs-related projects.
• solid knowledge of ifrs and audit methodologies.
• experience in reviewing audit documentation and coordinating project teams.
• strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• experience in big four or second-tier professional services firms will be considered a strong advantage.
