Customs clearance specialist

Responsibility

Conduct HS classification for imported goods based on Kazakhstan's customs import policies, identify import clearance permits, and coordinate with clearance agents to complete the procedures.

Be familiar with general trade clearance methods in Kazakhstan, review and amend documents based on restricted/prohibited conditions, and collaborate internally to coordinate with agents for expedited exception handling.

Prepare import clearance documents for general trade orders and handle exceptions.

Arrange transportation after clearance is completed.

Coordinate the refund of customs deposits.
Qualifications:

Proficient in Kazakhstan customs and clearance policies.

Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan HS CODE classification, familiar with clearance procedures and tax/duty regulations.

Experienced in import/export declaration processes and capable of independently resolving unexpected issues.

Prior experience in third-party logistics on-site customs declaration and document processing.

Strong learning ability, logical thinking, meticulous mindset, and excellent cross-department communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Familiarity with telecommunications products is a plus.
