An international FMCG company is looking for a Demand & Supply Planner to join its Supply Chain team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze historical sales, market trends and business inputs to develop accurate demand forecasts and demand plans.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance and Operations to validate assumptions, analyze forecast deviations and establish the consensus demand plan.
- Translate the agreed demand plan into an effective supply plan, taking into account supply, logistics and operational constraints.
- Develop and maintain weekly and monthly supply plans.
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify risks of stock-outs and overstock.
- Analyze demand and supply imbalances and coordinate actions to ensure product availability.
- Monitor inventory coverage and Days of Supply against target levels.
- Support new product launches and product phase-outs from a planning perspective.
- Maintain accurate planning and master data in relevant systems.
- Participate in the monthly S&OP process and contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes.
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders and partners to improve forecast accuracy and supply planning efficiency.
KEY RESULTS & DELIVERABLES
- Accurate and timely demand and supply plans aligned with business requirements.
- Optimal inventory levels ensuring product availability while minimizing excess stock.
- Achievement of key Supply Chain KPIs, including Forecast Accuracy and Service Level.
- Timely identification and mitigation of demand, supply and inventory risks.
- Continuous improvement of planning processes through root cause analysis and data-driven recommendations.
- Effective collaboration with Sales, Finance, Operations and other key stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Forecasting or Supply Chain.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Good understanding of forecasting, inventory management and supply chain planning processes.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP ERP and/or other planning systems.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Fluent English.
