as an associate in the m&a team, the candidate will be involved in supporting transaction execution and business development activities, including:
- preparation of marketing materials (teasers, information memoranda, management presentations and investor lists);
- financial analysis, valuation and financial modelling under supervision of senior team members;
- conducting industry, company and market research across a variety of sectors;
- assisting with preparation of pitches, proposals and client presentations;
- supporting execution of m&a, capital raising and strategic advisory engagements;
- coordinating with clients and other pwc teams as required;
- assisting in preparation of reports, financial analyses and other transaction-related deliverables;
- maintaining high-quality project documentation and supporting engagement management activities.
knowledge and experience:
- university degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, engineering, business administration or a related field with gpa of at least 3.5 out of 4.0;
- approximately 1–3 years of professional experience in m&a, transaction services, valuation, audit, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting or other analytical and financial roles;
- strong analytical and quantitative skills;
- basic understanding of financial statements and corporate finance concepts;
- experience with financial modelling and/or valuation is an advantage;
- cfa, acca or other professional qualifications (or progress towards them) are an advantage;
- advanced excel and powerpoint skills;
- strong written and spoken english and russian.
