spectrum international school is seeking a qualified and dedicated college counselor to guide and support secondary school students in their post-secondary planning. the college counselor plays a vital role in helping students identify their academic and career goals and navigate the complex process of applying to universities worldwide.

responsibilities:

• provide one-on-one and group counseling to students in grades 6–12 on college and career planning.

• assist students with the entire university application process, including university selection, application strategy, essays, cvs, and interview preparation.

• organize and lead college information sessions, application workshops, and presentations for students and parents.

• build and maintain strong relationships with international universities and admissions representatives.

• maintain up-to-date knowledge of global higher education trends, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities.

• work closely with school leadership, academic counselors, and teachers to support students’ academic and personal development.

• prepare recommendation letters and school reports as needed.

• be an active presence in the school.

our requirements:

• bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, psychology, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).

• minimum 1 year of experience in college counseling or university admissions.

• strong understanding of international university admissions (us, uk, canada, eu, asia, etc.).

• excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• fluency in english is required.

• experience working with international students is an advantage.
