responsibilities:
- manage full-cycle accounting, monthly and year-end closing, project cost and payroll accounting via 1c system.
- prepare, sign and submit statutory financial, tax (vat, cit, iit, social tax) and statistical reports in a timely manner.
- coordinate with tax authorities and communicate with government institutions, including tax bureaus, statistics bureaus and banks.
- approve payments, monitor cash flow, reconcile bank accounts and oversee cross-border fund settlements.
- standardize accounting vouchers, akt acts and financial archives; establish and maintain internal financial controls.
- lead the accounting team, coordinate external audits and support group financial reporting to the parent company.
- perform other duties as assigned by the department manager.
requirements:
- deep knowledge of the kazakhstan tax code and nas.
- strong proficiency in 1c.
- solid experience as a chief accountant within kazakhstan-based companies.
- fluent russian and english for group communication. chinese language skills are highly preferred.
- familiarity with local tax audits and government liaison procedures.
- strong risk awareness, attention to detail, and a high level of responsibility
