Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

Drive operational excellence across the retail network by ensuring efficient execution of retail support processes and enabling stores to focus on delivering the best consumer experience. Support business growth through operational coordination, process optimization, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration while maintaining high operational standards across Kazakhstan.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end retail support processes to ensure smooth day-to-day store operations across the retail network.
• Coordinate store openings, relocations, renovations, and closures in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate store master data across business systems (SAP, Navision, Lease Admin, SMD, SSM and other retail platforms).
• Manage and monitor retail operational requests through internal service platforms (e.g. Aspen), ensuring timely resolution and SLA compliance.
• Coordinate key retail initiatives including Membership, EA, NPS and other operational programs.
• Drive the Retail Recognition Program by coordinating nominations, communications, award distribution and engagement initiatives across the retail organization.
• Coordinate procurement, ordering and distribution of retail operational supplies, including uniforms, stationery, packaging materials, store consumables and operational equipment.
• Coordinate external service providers (cleaning, security, temporary staffing and other operational vendors) to ensure service quality and business continuity.
• Support contract administration, invoice processing and cost control for retail operational services.
• Develop, maintain and continuously improve retail operational processes, SOPs and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and reduce administrative workload for stores.
• Track and report operational KPIs while providing insights and recommendations to improve retail execution.
• Partner closely with Retail, Finance, HR, Procurement, Logistics, Legal and external vendors to ensure seamless operational execution.
• Promote a culture of operational excellence, accountability and continuous improvement across the retail organization.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong organizational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience working with ERP and retail systems (SAP, Navision or similar) is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Process improvement mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• High level of ownership, accountability and execution.

Requisite Education / Minimum Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Operations or a related field.
• Fluent Russian and Kazakh.
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
• Retail or FMCG background is considered an advantage.
