Material Receiving

Receive materials, tools, and equipment delivered to the site warehouse.

Check deliveries against purchase orders, packing lists, and delivery notes.

Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.

Coordinate with Quality Control for material inspection when required.

Report any discrepancies to the Material Coordinator or Warehouse Supervisor.

 

Storage & Warehouse Management

Organize and store materials in designated warehouse or laydown areas.

Ensure materials are properly labeled, tagged, and protected from damage.

Maintain good housekeeping and organization of the warehouse.

Follow proper storage procedures for sensitive materials.

 

Material Issuance

Issue materials, tools, and consumables to construction teams based on approved material requests.

Record all issued materials in the warehouse system or inventory logs.

Ensure proper documentation and authorization before issuing materials.

 

Inventory Control

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock movements.

Perform regular stock checks and physical inventory counts.

Assist in monthly or periodic inventory audits.

Report low stock levels and material shortages.

 

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain warehouse documentation including:

Goods Receipt Notes (GRN)

Material Issue Notes (MIN)

Inventory logs

Delivery records

Update warehouse records in ERP systems, SAP, or Excel trackers.

Safety & Compliance

Follow HSE policies and warehouse safety procedures.

Ensure safe handling and storage of materials.

Maintain clear access routes and safe stacking of materials.

Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks when required.
