JOB DUTIES

Reporting into the Chief Metallurgist, the Metallurgy Master is responsible to define, implement, develop, monitor & report on the  process improvement opportunities & projects to maximize concentrator mill throughput and recovery of metals (Cu, Mo, Au and Ag), and cost savings, within both sulphide and clay plant concentrators. The key objectives of this position are to:

1. Promote a culture of awareness and commitment to safe working practices amongst all employees and contractors, which will enable a healthy and hazard free working environment.

2. Directly participate in the daily to monthly work activities of the both Sulphide & clay plants, serving as technical support to operations personnel to enhance the performance.

3. Identify opportunities for improvement, and develop ideas generated by Metallurgical, Operational and Maintenance teams to allow for appropriate project scoping and prioritization.

4. Achieve outputs set by Chief Metallurgist, ensure direct reports have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities and provide support as required to develop & mentor other Metallurgists.
