Job Summary:

The Structural Helper assists skilled structural workers (fitters, welders, and fabricators) in the installation, assembly, maintenance, and repair of structural components such as steel frames, supports, and platforms. The role involves preparing materials, handling tools, supporting lifting and positioning of structural elements, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in structural steel installation and assembly activities

Prepare and transport materials, tools, and equipment

Support fitters and welders during fabrication and erection works

Perform basic grinding, cleaning, and surface preparation tasks

Follow safety procedures and site regulations

Maintain housekeeping in the work area
